International Center for Addiction Support
The International Center for Addiction Support (ICAS) is a member of the GRM Institute. ICAS is Gospel Rescue Ministries’ international entity. Based on the work of Dr. David Allen and the World Bank experience of the President and CEO of Gospel Rescue Ministries, Mr. Michael J. Cortese, ICAS will provide technical assistance around the world.
Dr. David Allen is the President of ICAS and envisions a global network of treatment facilities sharing knowledge and best practices to address addiction recovery. The first two centers are in Nassau, Bahamas where crack first appeared and in Washington, D.C. ICAS initially is focusing on the Caribbean and Latin America. ICAS will provide training, conferences and publications that will be geared towards assisting care providers in poor and developing countries.
